Christian Mission 2 Gaza
ANNUAL REPORT
December 2023
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
As we approach the close of another year, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support of Christian Mission to Gaza. Your commitment has made a significant impact on the lives of many in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt.
We are proud to announce that through October 2023, 88.57% of all donations were dedicated to our mission. This has enabled us to provide vital aid and support to those in need, bringing hope and relief to communities affected by hardship. Please find the annual report attached, which provides more detailed insights into our achievements and goals for the coming year.
In these times of turmoil, our hearts break for the suffering on all sides of the conflict. We pray for lasting peace, reconciliation, and healing in the Holy Land. Together, let us continue to be agents of peace and bearers of hope.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support. Your contributions, prayers, and acts of kindness have been instrumental in our ministry.
As we look forward to the new year, we remain steadfast in our commitment to making a positive impact in the region. Your continued support will help us achieve even greater milestones in 2024.
Blessings,
Pastor Hanna Massad

UPDATE ON GAZA
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I pray this message finds you in good health and spirits. As we gather to celebrate Christmas, a season of great joy and reflection, I am reminded of the profound love of God for all of us. Christmas marks the beautiful reconciliation of the divine with humanity, as Heaven met Earth, and angels sang out in Luke 2:14, "Glory to God in the highest [heaven], And on earth peace among men with whom He is well-pleased." We rejoice in the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, who brought us closer to God the Father.
However, my heart is heavy as I think of the current situation in our region. Our beloved homeland has been marred by conflict, with lives lost on both sides. In Gaza alone, over 21,000 people have perished, and a staggering 70% of the casualties are children and women.
The devastation is unimaginable, and it strikes close to home. Just a few blocks from my parents' former residence in Gaza was a heavy bombing, until this morning, we were unsure of the fate of our own home, as it is too dangerous for anyone to venture and check.
Today, we received confirmation that my cherished parent's home no longer stands, as we stumbled upon a video shared by a journalist on Instagram, briefly showcasing our former abode. My daughter warmly reminisces about the mango trees that once adorned our surroundings and the summer when a cat had a litter of kittens when we went back for a visit. My parent's home, a labor of love built by my father, accommodated our family of six siblings and our parents. After Suhad and I were married, we added a second floor where we lived together for seven years, raising our two daughters until we evacuated in 2007. During my visits to Gaza for ministry work, I often returned to the comfort of our family home.
